Questions people ask before they book.

Booking and scheduling

5 questions

  • Three ways, and none of them needs an account. Call or WhatsApp the number at the top of any page and tell us what you need; or use the booking form and we will call you back to confirm the slot. You will get the professional's name before they arrive either way.

  • Usually, if you call before mid-afternoon and you are in or near Kollam town — Kottiyam, Chavara, Kundara and Paravur included. Further out, next-day is the honest answer for most jobs. A full home deep clean needs a day or two anywhere, because it takes a larger team rather than one person.

  • Regular slots run Monday to Saturday, 8am to 8pm. Sundays and holidays often work too, depending on who is free that day — so it is worth asking rather than assuming. Call or WhatsApp us and we will tell you straight away whether someone can come, rather than booking you in and cancelling.

  • Cancel or move it up to 4 hours before the slot and there is no charge at all. Inside 4 hours, call us anyway — if the professional has not already travelled to you we will almost always just move it.

  • You need to be there to let the professional in and again at the end to check the work. In between it is up to you. For anything involving water or power we would rather you were reachable by phone, in case something behind a wall turns out to be different from what we expected.

Prices and payment

5 questions

  • Yes. For work that has to be measured or looked at first — painting a house, a facade clean, rewiring — someone comes, looks, and gives you a written price with no obligation and no visit fee. You only pay if you go ahead with the work.

  • Only work you agree to on the day. If the professional opens something up and finds more than the listing covers — a second tank, a pipe that has to be replaced rather than sealed — they stop and tell you the cost before continuing. Nothing gets added to the bill after the fact.

  • Yes, for every job, itemised. Ask when you book if you need it made out to a company or shop rather than to you personally, so we set it up correctly rather than reissuing it afterwards.

  • No. You pay after the work is done and you have looked at it — UPI, card or cash. Anyone asking you for a deposit before a standard booking is not us, and it is worth calling the number on this site to check.

  • The equipment and standard cleaning materials are ours and are included. Anything consumed that is specific to your job — paint, a replacement part, a new tap — is quoted separately so you can see what it cost rather than having it folded into a labour rate.

Areas we cover

4 questions

  • No. Every locality on our areas page is charged at the same published price, however far out it is. The only time travel is ever discussed is for a job well outside the district, and then we agree it with you on the phone before it is booked.

  • Yes, on the edges. Adoor is in Pathanamthitta and Kayamkulam is in Alappuzha, and both are regular service areas for us. If you are somewhere else just over a district line, call — the boundary is about driving time, not about which district you are in.

  • Yes, and it is worth mentioning when you call. Two flats in the same building or a house and a shop on the same street are usually one visit for us, which makes them quicker to schedule than two separate bookings.

  • Regularly. Tell us the building when you book so we can send ID details ahead if the security desk needs them — that is the thing that most often delays a job at the gate, and it takes one phone call to avoid.

Trust, safety and guarantees

5 questions

  • You get their name and photograph before they arrive, and they carry ID. If someone turns up who does not match what we sent you, do not let them in — call us on the number on this site and we will tell you who is actually assigned to your job.

  • Tell us before the professional leaves if you can, and photograph it. We repair or replace what we broke — this is on us, not on your household insurance, and you should not be arguing about it with the person who did the work.

  • 30 days on the workmanship. Tell us inside that window and someone comes back and redoes it at no cost; if it still is not right after that, you get your money back. Parts and materials carry whatever warranty the manufacturer gives, which we hand to you with the invoice.

  • Call the main number and say so. It is a small enough business that the complaint reaches someone who can act on it the same day rather than a ticket queue. Our one-star Google review is still on our reviews page, unedited, which is roughly the level of hiding we do.

  • The standard cleaning products are, once surfaces are dry. For anything stronger — a heavy bathroom descale, a pest treatment — the professional will tell you how long to keep the room clear and it is worth planning that around nap times and feeding bowls before they start.

About specific jobs

6 questions

  • Every six months for a household tank in this climate, and that is the interval public health guidance uses too. Sooner if the water has started to smell or taste different, if you can see sediment, or after any work that opened the tank up.

  • Three to four hours for a typical two-tank house, including draining, scrubbing, disinfecting and refilling. You will be without stored water for most of that, so it is worth filling what you need for the afternoon before the team starts.

  • On site, in almost every case — the common faults are the inlet valve, the drain pump, belts and the control board, and all of those are fixed where the machine stands. It only leaves the house if it needs something that cannot be done without a workshop, and we tell you that before it goes.

  • A day for a two-bedroom flat with a team of two or three, longer for a house with more bathrooms or a kitchen that has not been deep-cleaned in a while. We would rather book the right amount of time than send one person for twelve hours.

  • Yes — pressure washing at the right setting lifts moss, algae and embedded dirt without pitting the blocks or blowing out the joint sand. The mistake that damages paving is too much pressure held too close in one spot, which is a technique problem rather than an equipment one.

  • Once a year for normal use, and before the summer rather than during it — that is when everybody calls at once and slots are hardest to get. Twice a year if the unit runs most of the day or you are near the coast, where salt gets into the outdoor coil.
